March 18 - A morning departure has you heading south to your overnight stop where lodging has been arranged for the group (Please pack an overnight bag.)

March 19 - After breakfast, check out and depart for the Cajun Country of New Orleans, also know as the "Big Easy."  Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel in the French Quarter.  This evening you will enjoy a delicious dinner at one of New Orleans' popular restaurants.

March 20 - Enjoy breakfast, then depart on a guided tour of New Orleans and its historic sites.  You will also enjoy a visit to the National World War II Museum which focuses on the contribution made by the U.S. to victory by the Allies in WWII and the Battle of Normandy in particular.  The museum's main section focuses on the War in the Pacific and the War against Germany.  There is also a special area on the Normandy Invasion and on Higgins Industries of New Orleans that designed and built the amphibious landing craft.  Later, enjoy a tour of Mardi Gras World which houses many of the floats and costumes used in the Mardi Gras celebrations and parades.  The rest of the afternoon is free for you to explore the area at your won pace.  Dinner will be at one of the popular restaurants in New Orleans this evening.

March 21 - Following breakfast, enjoy a tour of the Houmas House Plantation & Gardens.  Then, spend the afternoon exploring some of New Orleans' attractions on your own.  Enjoy some shopping and lunch on your won in the French Quarter, New Orleans' most popular neighborhood and one of the best preserved historical neighborhoods in America.  The French Quarter features a strong, lasting Spanish and French influence and is home to the best-known party street in New Orleans....Bourbon Street.  This evening enjoy dinner at the New Orleans School of Cooking.

March 22 - After breakfast, depart for Audubon Aquarium of the Americas.  An IMAX movie will be included along with admission to the aquarium.  Later, you will enjoy a spectacular riverboat cruise on the Mighty Mississippi River.  A fantastic dinner at a local restaurant will end your day.

March 23 - Enjoy breakfast, then check out and begin your homeward journey with lasting memories of your travels into the deep South, Cajun Country of New Orleans.  Once again, lodging has been arranged along the way. (Please pack an overnight bag.)

March 24 - After breakfast this morning, check out and prepare for your departure for home.
