April 10 - Depart from your home town and travel to the Finger Lakes Region where upon arrival you will check into your hotel and freshen up before enjoying dinner and a relaxing evening.
April 11 - Following breakfast, visit the Three Brothers Winery where you will enjoy a wine sampling and tour. Continue with a tour of the Cayuga Wine Trail; arrive at Lucas Vineyards to experience the oldest winery on Cayuga Lake. View the beautiful lake from their spacious tasting room and gift shop. Next stop - Sheldrake Point Vineyard & Cafe. Sample the wine in their tasting room, and check out the varieties on sale in the Artisan gift shop. Continue to Swedish Hill Vineyard, which features Cayuga Lake's largest selection of wines - from dry to sweet, classic to unique, including champagne, port, and brandy. Relax and browse in the spacious yet cozy tasting room and gift shop. Arrive in Auburn and check into your hotel, where you can relax before a buffet-style dinner in the hotel's restaurant.
April 12 - Seneca Wine Trail - Arise to breakfast, then depart for wine country. Try the wonderful wines from Lamoreaux Landing Wine Cellars - an exceptional selection of award-winning, estate-bottled vinifera wines in an unforgettable setting. Wagner Vineyards offers guided tours of the winemaking operation, and Wagner Brewing Company offers a self-guided tour of the brewing process. Upon conclusion of your tour, taste a selection of fine wines and receive a souvenir glass! Lunch is on your won in the area. After lunch, head south to Hector and the Hazlitt 1852 Winery. Savor the friendly atmosphere of your wine-tasting at the horseshoe bar, nestled in a cozy barn decorated with antiques and memorabilia. At nearby Chateau LaFayette Reneau you'll find 140 acres of vineyards, ponds, meadows, woodlands and fine wines. Depart north to the Belhurst Castle. Taste the wines in the Belhurst Winery, then relax for a delicious dinner at the castle. Return to your lodging after dinner for a restful night.
April 13 - After breakfast, check out and depart for home -- taking with you sparkling memories of your Wine Safari in the Finger Lakes.
